Yummy Strawberries

Look what i did to mine, they look and taste wonderful....try it next time!

you will need;
500 g plain chocolate, or milk chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp butter
500-600 g strawberries, fresh
method;
- Clean and wash strawberries. Insert a toothpick into each strawberry.
- Put chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Heat in a bath of hot water, stirring occasionally until chocolate and butter melt. Leave to cool slightly but not harden.
- Hold strawberries from toothpicks and dip each strawberry into molten chocolate mixture. Turn strawberries upside down from the toothpick until chocolate holds shape. Arrange on a baking sheet until chocolate hardens.

I know kate but when i saw them in the market at 2 punnet's for £1 i couldn't resits and to my delight they were spot on on flavour! You know the UK , when is it never in season?

Salaam, we've had strawberries here this month too... from Egypt I think. Oh Somayya... I'm sure that when you do get strawberries they'll taste infinitely better than any other out of season ones though! My daughters like to dip in them in Nutella for a really 'quick fix'! Umm Ibrahim

these look yum sis, my sister made something similar one Eid and it was a refreshing change from mithai.

I found two punnets for £1 recently too and they were better than expected. Still, nothing tastes like June's English strawberries...

yes i agree in season is better but you have not tasted Algeria's in season strawberries ...leaves the British ones way behind in taste believe me mashaAllah!
