Home made Valuvents

With the left over pastry from my earlier chicken pie , i decided to try some valuvents. They didn't come all that good but edible alhamduilah. I stuffed them with prawns, spring onions, parsley and sweetcorn.

you are one clever chick mashallah. I've asked my kids if they would like to bake today but they are too busy outside playing with the snow. I've got lentils on the stove , perfect for this kind of weather I think.
Lovely pie too mashallah. Enjoy the snow and the nice food inshallah. Take care sis.

Good Morning

Oh those turned out beautiful, I see the milk brushed on, is that what gives them their shiny look?

Good afternoon to you
Barbara
i think it is the brushing with milk that gives them this shine for sure.
