Cauliflower

Photobucket
Take one Saturday afternoon well it can be any day, a few hours is ample and a cauliflower and lets see what we can do?
Steam the florets
Photobucket
whip up a egg batter with grated cheese and season well to taste
Photobucket
Photobucket
A plate of bread crumbs to coat in and get cracking.......
Photobucket
Photobucket
Coat the florets and shallow fry
Photobucket
Now in the mean time have a pan with a base of onions, garlic, tomatoes and seasoning to taste going and you will see why.........Photobucket
Now look and see what this humble cauliflower can offer you ,
Photobucket
as a main meal
Photobucket
As a snack with your favorite sauce, mine is tarmind and chili
Photobucket
as a starter served on a bed of lettuce
Photobucket
Now you try.

Salamu alaykum sis,
that looks really deli. Mash'Allah. It remind me of a dish we make in Italy with cauliflower. instead of frying them with breadcrumbs we use a batter very similar to the one you use for the cod in UK (fish and chips )

BTW on another matter, just realized you tagged me. Sorry I haven't visited you for long, it's just we are busy with a new homeschooling programme.
hugs and duas always

no its not well its one of my fusion dishes , its a bland dish based on an Algerian dish they cook but as Muslimah trying to home edu mentions they use a batter not bread crumb, just i had a bag sitting there and it was the first time i cooked them in breadcrumbs also the spanish have the same dish. I have fusion cooked it with my own desi influence as it reminds me of a pakora.
