seeking taqwa have you ever tried using ground turkey or ground chicken in those types of dishes? You still get the good flavor, but it won't be so heavy.

I use ground chicken for everything.

Assalamu alaykum sis Rainbow,
i can finally access your blog!
My connection was too slow and in fact it was not right. Had to call the engineer to repair! But that's another story. I am just on time for dinner! Love your lasagna. It looks delicious.Mash'Allah.

Sister seekingtaqwa I have problems digesting meat after eating so much of it this Ramadan. I am now using Quorn for everything! Even made egg fried rice with Quorn.

Assalaamu alaikum

Mmmmm the topping looks especially good sis. What quantities of the ingredients do you use for the white sauce?

I miss Quorn! I wish we could get that here in Saudi!
