My chapati peak

Anyone who is a roti maker will know the importance of a fluffy chapati, well i had my chapati peak today with a fluffy batch masha Allah a momentous moment in my chapati making life. Some may think i am sad but its the small things in life that make me smile alhamduillah.

Your chapatti looks so puffed up in the pic. What do you do to make it grow like that? Mine never do. :(

well i don't add anything really , i belive it all comes with time and practice. It's a skill in my kitchen . I just use chappati flour (medium) , water and a little salt at my dh request but personally you can do with out as the curry has its own flavours.

I kneed the dough and allow it to sit covered for about 30 mins before rolling. My chappatis are of North Indian Decent namely Punjabi. Other regions in India add ghee or oil but you don't need all that.
