I wanted a soft brioche feel but a Chelsea bun look. This is what i got
I mixed 500g of plain flour, 1 cup of milk, yeast, salt , 1 egg, 1/4 sugar, 1/2 tea spoon of Allspice and currants. i invented this recipe they came out more like hotcross buns but i should have glazed them with some sugar glaze as they was not sweet enough alhamduillah.
