sweat some onions in the pan witha little oil,salt, pepper, paprika, add a tin of tomatoes, salt thyme, grate a corgettue, a carrot add some tomato puree a little water allow to simmer for about 15-20mins on a low heat
Boil up some linguine and serve sprinkled with some parmasan cheese

mmmmmmmm this looks yummy. mashaAllah. so, why is the family not eating what you're cooking? looks good to me. When I was in Algeria in April, my husband was all over everything I cooked. After a year of missing my food he licked the plate :) It was a really good feeling. I enjoyed being more domestic again. I got in the work, eat, and sleep routine. My son and I were eating very simple things or eating out so it was nice to have some real home-cooked food.
I got from your blog that you are indian and your hub is algerian. I hope that is right. I absolutely love indian food. My husband loves chicken makhani and coconut rice. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
