Chicken Chow mein

Photobucket

I used some cabbage, onion, mushroons, red peppers, mange tout and carrot all thinly sliced. i thinly cut some strips of chicken breast. cooked up the chickin in the wok first and then added the veg once the noddles were boiled i added them. I sprinkled a little salt while cooking the veg and soy sauce.

I made some egg fried rice on the side.

The thing I like most about those recipes is the simplicity and yet so tasty.

My husband and I love stir-fry. We don't use soy though. Just salt and pepper. It does look quite similar to the one you made and it's one of our fave things to eat. It was also one of the first dishes I cooked when I went to Algeria.

Glad to see you posting again. I've missed you. How are your children adjusting to being in state school?

O-hey, chow mein! We occasionally have this when we need something fast without losing out on the goodness. ^^
