Inshallah you will soon re-adjut and start enjoying yourself.
Must be hard to re-organise and clean a home that has been lived in by a man alone for all this time!!!
No so much dirty just a cluttered mess and i just hate the way men hoard things esp my Algerian man subhanAllah. so i have got to charity bags ready, bearing in mind also gave away 1 in March. Just everything all over the show and we are holding some large boxes and tables for a brother ,, so i cant make the place look tidy until this lot is shifted! I assembled a 6 seater dinning table my mum gave me and it looks lovely mashaAllah, gives the place a real warm feel and we can al sit and share a family meal as we had a 4 chairs previously.
Assalam-alaikam Sister,
I know exactly what you mean about the husband hoarding. My husband does house clearances so it never ends. I don't want to nag, so I try to get rid of it myself, but its difficult, plus half the time I don't know what it is - electricky, computer-part, tool-like things. Plus all the stuff various relatives and in-laws have left here.
The best solution I have found is gumtree (www.gumtree.com). I've been sticking the stuff on there and giving my husbands phone number so people can buy it - they pay you to take it away.
It is never-ending though isn't it alhamdulillah.
