I blitzed some strawberries with 1-2 table spoons of sugar (adjust to your taste). Keep about 3-4 strawberries on the side whole for decor latter.
In the mean time i whisked up the whipping cream until the peaks appear.

Photobucket
Having recently dinned at a this lovely eatery i decided to give the food a try myself for the family. Seeing i enjoyed the meal so much i thought to reproduce it at home.
Photobucket
The starter Wild mushrooms, grilled topped with Parmesan cheese and spinach cooking with garlic, served with rocket salad and cherry tomatoes.
here is what i did:
Photobucket
Wash the mushrooms and grill them.
Photobucket
I did both sides
Photobucket
Top with some grated Parmesan and further grill.
In the mean time with a little olive oil in a pan crusg some garlic and add the spinach i flavoured it with balsamic vinegar and salt.
Photobucket
wash the salad leaves
Photobucket
and serve
For the main course i boiled the linguine to the instructions on the packet.
Photobucket
Gently toast the pine nuts ,
Photobucket
Photobucket
I added some peas to the pasta but really fine beans is what i wanted but didn't have , i added pesto (BASIL) and it came together like this served with Parmesan grated on top.
Photobucket
Now eaten al fresco is even better perfect for these hot summer eveings, yes even in London.

Here are the ones we had at the restaurant Al Fresco of course!

Update on my WIP

I have been doing a bit nothing finished yet but soon inshaAllah!
Remember this find?
Well i started
Photobucket
A cushion cover, i adore that silvery brown wool , the look and texture are very nice , even greater when worked into a project!
Now i took Umm Hibaat's advice and started some smaller items that gave me instant gratification

DD wants a lap top cover but i want a coaster or table mat, perhaps a doily thingy to throw over the stereo to keep the dust off.
I have also been inspired to do some sewing again for my little DD7yrs old
Photobucket
Who recalls the Gingham for school uniform in the summer, well i want my DD to feel cool and comfortable whilst looking good in a modest dress. I managed to get the fabric and i am going to try make something up myself, will post when i have done it inshaAllah. I will most likely go for a two piece long top with trousers.

Just pottering about really

Well the holidays are over and its all back to routine again, i didn't think i would be able to get out of bed this morning to make the lunches and get the kids off to school, well i didn't they awoke me! All what i had planned for the holidays didn't materilise and we spent quality time indoor with one another instead and it was great mashaallah. I said to the kids yesterday i don't want you to go back to school tomorrow as i will miss you guys! They were pleased and said, 'fine ummi( Mum), as we don't want to go back anyhow!''
We have illness in the home just lately and it seems to be dragging out alhamduilah (all praise to Allah). So it was a case of nursing the poorly and doing what i could in between.
Photobucket
A nice cup of tea and an anadin often puts the females in the home right, while the males need
Photobucket
A hearty food but in this case some liver to help build up the strength
Photobucket
Finailly when the sun came out at the end of week two subhanAllah. We decided to finish the garden and get out there, my DS assembled the furniture for me
Photobucket
Then there was time to enjoy a nice cup of Earl Grey Tea in the sun mashaAllah.
Photobucket
There was chocolate to make it all seem sweeter
